Account Manager

The Account Manager role connects CRUEL’s clients and service offering, from lead, to proposal, to deliverables, through to project reporting, and will dictate the workflow to and from clients. The Account Manager will combine functional elements of project management, document creation, and database navigation into the creative landscape to facilitate quality output with their team, while also playing a key role towards business development and growing with the client account. CRUEL is looking for a candidate who will thrive in a unique, creative group of young people. The Account Manager must be proactive, supporting our internal teams and delivering on the client’s expectations, while managing multiple projects at a time.

The Account Manager is an intermediate-level position, with organized individuals capable of multitasking sure to thrive in our environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow within CRUEL, and someone who will demonstrate ownership over their accounts. The role requires someone with an incredible drive to succeed, and who is passionate about what they do. The Account Manager will work cross-functionally with other internal teams including operations, production, and creative, and report directly to the Account Director. The Account Manager will also be asked to manage multiple Field Coordinator roles, who will be tasked with on-site project execution.

  • ● 3+ years of client service experience within marketing services or adjacent industries

    ● Experience working with consumer packaged goods clients, including with a working knowledge of the grocery retail environment

    ● Passionate about events and live experiences

    ● Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and driven to succeed

    ● Prides themselves on communicating effectively with others

    ● Natural relationship builder, who is friendly, confident, and outgoing

    ● Experience with project management tools

  • ● Develop and manage relationships with clients, brand teams, and strategic partners

    ● Collaborate with other internal project stakeholders to create compelling marketing concepts and client proposals

    ● Collaborate with creative, production, and operations teams to bring experiential campaigns and events to life

    ● Translate client goals into clear project briefs and actionable deliverables for internal teams

    ● Lead project management for experiential marketing initiatives on behalf of clients

    ● Oversee day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring projects stay on scope, on budget, and on timeline

    ● Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, reports, and post-event recaps.

    ● Manage client-related administration, project contracting, and invoicing

    ● Contribute to brainstorming sessions, helping generate fresh, innovative experiential concepts

    ● Coordinate vendor and partner relationships as-needed for activations
