Brand Leads help bridge the gap between our Brand Ambassadors and CRUEL. Leading our Brand Ambassador teams, our Brand Leads are accountable for managing their teams and ensuring that marketing objectives are met. The role is on-premise, and will combine elements of promotional work, supervision of staff, and working with CRUEL’s coordinators & management team.
Throughout the summer, Brand Ambassadors will take on the exciting role of executing experiential campaigns on behalf of one of Canada’s largest food companies at select locations in Ontario (London, Ottawa), Alberta (Calgary), Quebec (Quebec City) throughout August and September. Brand Leads will be tasked with leading and managing a team of Brand Ambassadors while helping bring the larger team to program success. Brand Leads will support the drive of trial, sales, and brand awareness and will also be responsible for communicating sample and promotional assets quantities to CRUEL staff. The ideal candidate will ensure program success for the brands we work with, our communities, and for CRUEL by eagerly conversing with potential consumers at events and/or festivals.

A valid liquor serving license (i.e. Smart Serve; Serving it Right, etc) will be required upon successful onboarding
A valid food handling certificate (i.e. Food Safe) will be required upon success onboarding
Manage a team of Brand Ambassadors to accomplish on-site marketing objectives such as product sampling, brand awareness, and sales conversion
Prepare and distribute product samples on-site at brand activation programs within your region (Ontario, Quebec, AB)
Track all product samples and other key metrics throughout each brand activation
Support program success by maintaining a clean and organized activation site - assisting in production elements where necessary
Deliver key brand messaging to consumers to encourage sales as well as drive brand awareness
Attend necessary leadership training sessions, retaining key developmental skills
Support setup and tear-down of on-premise brand activations.
Lead on-premise reporting at the end of each event or brand activation
$27.50 / hour
