Bringing MLB’s official beer into Toronto’s game-day bars.

CRUEL partnered with Miller Lite to build on the brand's position as the official beer of Major League Baseball and deepen its connection with Blue Jays fans during the 2025 home stretch. The objective was to move beyond passive sponsorship and create genuine, memorable moments at the on-premise accounts where fans were already gathering to watch the game — positioning Miller Lite as the natural choice for game day.


CRUEL designed and executed the Miller Lite Dugout: an agile, carnival-inspired pop-up that rotated across five key accounts within walking distance of Rogers Centre throughout September and October 2025. Brand ambassadors decked out in baseball jerseys brought the experience to life with fair-style games, branded prizing, and a QR code contest offering a chance to win two tickets to any MLB game. Accounts received tailored Miller Lite combo promotions, agreed upon in advance, with supporting materials to drive sales directly at the bar level. Over 14 game days, the Dugout activated at The Pint, Real Sports Bar, Petty Cash, The Score on Queen, and St. Louis Bremner — adapting to each venue's layout and energy.


Over 14 game days, the Dugout activated across five key accounts within walking distance of Rogers Centre, adapting to each venue’s layout and energy. Fans stayed to play. Then stayed for a beer. First-time Miller Lite drinkers left converted.
